kgoods is in one of our fine American military services (National Guard, I believe). Our military is very involved in disaster relief and apparently, kgoods' unit is going to prepare for the possibility of Chris hitting our southern states. Chris is a Tropical Storm right now, but could become a hurricane when it hits the warmer waters of the Carribean.
kgoods was very involved with Hurricane Katrina last year, and we are all proud of the work he did. Unfortunately, it is a disruption to his personal life, including college. So my prayers are with you, kgoods, that God's will be done and all works out for the best.

You'll be in my prayers buddy. Don't worry about being 30 and in school. Plenty of people find themselves there. You're providing a really tremendous service and should be honored for doing so.
Don't get me wrong but *HUGE HUGS*

I agree wholeheartedly with this. If it is indeed God's will that you should serve, then you should feel great about it, and you will, I'm sure. If it is not God's will this time, then you won't be called.

They certainly are and I'm glad I don't have to go back to one. I don't see myself going after a MS degree. I'm perfectly happy with a BS.

Kgoods - thank you for serving our Country. In God's timing you will finish your college degree. He has you right where He wants you.
((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))
Doesn't have a degree and wonders if it will ever happen...although I have I think 15 credit hours...LOL!
Raising kids and working have been priority for the past 22 years...someday I hope to go back to college to finish my BS...and then maybe I'll go for my MS in Project Management. Someday...

There is always time. Don't give up on it if you really want it.

Cynan, be taking one or two classes at a nearby two-year college while you're waiting for things to work out at the school you want your degree from. You might whittle a semester or more off the requirements by doing this, and it won't be all that disruptive to your life. A course here and another course there, it all adds up.
