I am in pain. I went to a gymnastics lesson the other night so I could learn to do flips and stuff so my free running will ook prettier. Anyway, the teacher guy, who is called Andy and he is lovely, did these abdomenal exercises in the warm up. So I wake up next morning and my abs are so stiff I can't sit up. For two days now I've had to roll onto my front to be able to get up It hurts a lot. Oh yeah, sprung floors rule. I'm going to build my house out of spring floors.

Sounds like you're using muscles you haven't used before. Just keep at it and it won't hurt so bad.

I have used them before. I used to do jujutsu so we did lots of crunches in the warm up, climbing up stuff whilst free running uses them too. I do 100 crunches before bed 3-4 times a week. I just haven't used them in this way before. Owowow

New exercise is always rough on the muscles. Last time I went to Swing we had a Charleston line for about 30 minutes...If you've never done the Charleston, you may not appreciate this, but oh, was I sore the next day. I'm sure you know this, but heat helps sooo much! Good luck with that.

You ought to try it....

I have hypermobility, especially in my shoulders, and my left shoulder is messed up because of it. So, I have to take arthritis medicine before I dance or else I can't move my arm afterward for the pain.

We actually use something called Orange Citrus. . .makes the black marks come right up. . .with a bit of elbow grease. . .but after remove like 200 black marks (Stupid high schoolers. . .) your muscles really hurt.

You ran 6 miles.... for fun? How is that fun? I don't get it. Surely you just get knackered.
