Cool story, Tegid!
For my part, I can say I like dogs better than cats. In either case, I'm allergic so we can't have a dog. Fine with me, I don't want to take care of them.

I have a foxhound/beagle cross who is definately a few french fries short of a Happy Meal, but I love her to death. And I would have to disagree with the statement that poodles are the lowest form of dog life. My counsler at summer camp one year brought her dog Bruno, a standerd poodle. He was probably one of the smartest dogs I've ever met. On the other hand, there I times I wish I could shoot my neighbors toy poodles.

hmm. . . the dog and I seem to be getting along better. . .I guess I need some place to calm myself down with recent developments, so just petting the dog seems to assist in that, as long as there are no more peeing incidences. . .

A dog's "dependence" on its caretakers is part of what makes dogs good companions to lonely, easily depressed people such as myself. Cats, not so much. My grandma had a poodle. It was already getting old when I was young, but my mom told me she used to jump on floats with people at the river. We trained my brother's 95 lb lab puppy to climb onto floats, only he started pushing people off in the process

I hate dogs too, Hinata! I have more than a few stories for why. Maybe I'll share them one of these days...
