so. . .you've all read that pretty little poem I wrote, no the excuse is not to give the poem. . .but, to see the individual again. See, I only really see him once a week at church for about three hours. . .but today he showed up for only the last half hour of the service because of family functions he got to be at and I'm like. . .only about an hour of seeing him this is bumming me out. . .I want a good excuse to see him again but. . .*sighs* I don't know if I can come up with a good enough one; any ideas?

As they say, "Any port in a storm". Or in other words, sounds like a good excuse to me...

Just don't invite him on a "date". Guys are scared of girls who do the asking.

Ok, he invited himself to accompany you to your friend's wedding reception? Either he likes you, or he likes wedding receptions...

I invited myself to a movie with a girl and her sister. Ended up marrying said girl. I didn't want the movie, just the girl. I don't usually do that sort of thing, so I think it was the Lord's prompting.

*Stares at Dan*
DON'T TELL ME THESE THINGS! I'm not supposed to get married for another like two years. ..at least, that's what I told my parents and I hate it when they turn out to be right and I'm so wrong it's sad. . .but then again. . .*sighs* Catch 22 I suppose. . .

Well, there isn't anything saying you have to marry the guy that quickly. You can get together, date and get married after two years have passed. Besides, it's all in God's control. If God wants you to get married, do you really want to fight it?
I think he likes you. Especially since he invited himself along.

Dred. . .sorry, I was being sarcastic there. . .I did tell my parents that I thought there were two years, and there just may be. . .who even knows if it'll work out between us. Just because I like him now and he likes me, doesn't mean we'll be getting married any time soon or even in two years. (Though I have to admit the thought has crossed my mind on more than one occassion and I wouldn't mind it all together; in fact I may just love it. . .) Anyway, it's just a matter of time and working through things before I can know for sure about anything. I was just playing with Dan.

I was just relaying my experience. I'm not saying it will happen to you. Actually, I hope you don't get married soon. I've seen too many marriages fall apart because they don't really know each other. Please don't rush into anything. But then you are too level headed to do anything like that, right?
