Did anyone else NOT get theirs? I ordered 2 but never received them. One was to be a gift for someone for Christmas and it never came. I was/am quite saddened.

My family ordered some for me and they didn't come until about January 3rd, so maybe they are still in the mail system somewhere.

How odd...I got an extra bookplate today! I got the four I ordered (two w/ just autographs, two w/ dedications) a few weeks ago, but today I received one more (just autographed) in the mail! If anyone here doesn't get what they ordered, I'd be happy to send my extra one to you. Just send me a pm and we can discuss it.

I ordered one plain and one with a dedication. Still haven't made it here. Ceridwen, maybe we can work something out  . I'll give it another week or so and see if they get here. |

I feel bad for all the people who didn't get their book plates before Christmas but maybe it has something to do with being an old fogey that I never expect the mail system to work properly, especially at Christmas, especially when Canada Post is involved. My bookplate showed up today. I can't believe that Stephen has actually taken the time to sign one just for me. He put my name at the top and included as much of the quote from his book that I picked as he could fit onto that little piece of paper. When I think of him sitting there signing more than 500 of them (all free of charge - and I didn't have to cough up the postage cost either) I am once again amazed at this man. If his talent wasn't enough, he has to be thoughtful and kind as well. He may not be rich by selling his books but he is raking up major treasure in Heaven. Thanks Stephen. You're the man! Two days ago I got a duplicate of one I received in December ... even down to the dedication of what he wrote.
All I can think of is that they must have had a bunch lost, and so poor Stephen is doing them all over again to make sure everyone gets one.

So, I missed that opportunity... I haven't checked this forum in months, unfortunately, so I didn't learn about the signed bookplates until recently.
But, that page is still up... So I sent in a request just in case he'll still send me one. (Can't hurt to ask)

For anyone who is interested, I have 3 of the white(non-King Raven), signature only bookplates. If nobody wants them, I'll just keep them for future books.

I got my bookplates today so I'm happy. I got like 4 each so i'm giving two to my friend Sharon at Cloak and Dragon bookstore.
