BTW --- what does "aithnionn meirleach meirleach cile" mean? If it is from Lawhead, I can't place it at the moment. I figured out it is Gaelic, and my daughter translates it to:
Knowlege [of the] Thief
Thief [??] Church
Or something like that?

i was trying to remember the saying at this irish pub i go to "one rogue knows another" i went to some gaelic to english websites to find a translation, and considering what you gave me, I botched it. if you or anyone can help out with that it would be appreciated  |

My daughter knows some decent amount of Gaelic, but is not fluent. I'll have her see how what you've written compares to "One rogue knows another" ... that info helps a lot! Anyone else know Gaelic?  |
