Greetings and welcome. It's always great to see a new face and hear fresh thoughts. You're already jumping right into discussions and that's wonderful so please keep it up as you feel the inclination.

Welcome to the forum, Eugene!
BTW --- what does "aithnionn meirleach meirleach cile" mean? If it is from Lawhead, I can't place it at the moment. I figured out it is Gaelic, and my daughter translates it to:
Knowlege [of the] Thief Thief [??] Church
Or something like that?

An insight!
Is it from "Dream Thief"? Lawhead's book?

My daughter knows some decent amount of Gaelic, but is not fluent. I'll have her see how what you've written compares to "One rogue knows another" ... that info helps a lot! Anyone else know Gaelic?

Not I, unfortunately. But in case you've not yet discovered the > Learning Gaelic < thread on this forum, you might want to check out the resources in its first post.

Anyone else know Gaelic? the claddagh has it at the bar with the gaelic on top, and the english at the bottom. I felt akin to it

My daughter says that for "one rogue knows another" should be:
Ta aithne an radaire radaire eile
<or>
Ta aithne nan radaire air radaire eile
Can anyone else verify this?
Eugene, it will be interesting to see how this compares to your source when you get a chance to go again.
