He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? - Micah 6:8

Romans 12:3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.

This is what says the high and exalted One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and lowly spiirit, in order to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite." - Isaiah 57:15

Lamentations 3:21-26 This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I hope in Him!" The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the LORD.

Ruth 1:16-17
But Ruth said, "Do not ask me to abandon or forsake you! for wherever you go I will go, wherever you lodge I will lodge, your people shall be my people, and your God my God.
Wherever you die I will die, and there be buried. May the Lord do so and so to me, and more besides, if aught but death separates me from you!"

I'm going to try to quote this from memory:
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy And to walk humbly with your God. ~Micah 6:8

Dedicated to Lady Bookwyrm:
Your word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against you. (Psalm 119:11)
O how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day. (Psalm 119:97)
Receive, I pray you, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in your heart. (Job 22:22)
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. (Colossians 3:16)

An early epiphany in the Walk on the Way...
Jesus is getting ready to leave his disciples, knowing that his path lay upon the cross. He tries to tell them where he is going and what he will do, but they don't understand. After he makes the provocative statement:
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."
Phillip answered, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us."
Then Jesus gives this answer, which at first sort of blew over my head as a new Christian, but at one point became so real, I could see it as if in first person. I remember the moment when I gasped in startled realization: The Father, looking through the eyes of Jesus, piercing straight to Phillip's heart, spoke these words with the Voice of Many Waters:
"Don't you know me, Phillip, after I have been with you such a long time?" (John 14:6-9)

Luke 1:46-55
And Mary said: "My sould proclaims the greatness of the Lord;
my spirit rejoices in God my savior
For he has looked upon his handmaid's lowliness; behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed.
The Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name.
His mercy is from age to age to those who fear him.
He has shown might with his arm, dispersed the arrogant of mind and heart.
He has thrown down the rulers from their thrones but lifted up the lowly.
The hungry he has filled with good things; the rich he has sent away empty.
He has helped Israel his servant, remembering his mercy,
according to his promise to our fathers, to Abraham and to his descendants forever."

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
I know that's the overused one, but I had to post it. That's the one I was reading when I finally realized what Jesus had done for me - and finally believed it!
