I'm going to be out of contact for a few days this week and the weekend. I'm going to be part of a video crew for a dance conference my wife is a part of. She helped organize the 3 1/2 day event and I got added to the video crew. Sweet! I hope I get to run a camera or even better, direct the cameras...
After today, I'll see you all on Monday the 1st.
God Bless!

Man! Did that so ROCK!
I had a great time. I told my boss and he saw how excited I was and told me I was in the wrong line of work. He's right. But all in God's time...
Thank you all for your kindess and encouragement.

Conference number 2 is this Labor Day Weekend!
I will be taking Thursday and Friday off to prepare for the conference, so I won't be posting from Sept.1st - 5th. I'll be back online and playing 'catch-up' on the 6th.
The video guy I'm helping lives in Washington State. He will be staying with me for at least one night. We are going to talk to my church about putting in some cameras and recording equipment. We are also going to be talking about having me supervise that equipment and the videoing of the services. Please pray that my church accepts this. It would really be the next step in the direction I know God is taking me with video.
I'm so excited. I just can't hide it...

... here's the latest on all the video conferencing I have been doing ...
For the last week I have been at two different conferences. The first required me to wake up at 4AM to fly to a small town just outside of Washington, D.C. I was there for 3 days (my final training sessions). I had to wake up at 3AM the following morning to fly back to Dallas because the second conference was starting that night in Fort Worth. I flew back and got all my gear together from the plane, made a quick stop at my house for lunch and went to setup for my first conference of my own. It fell to me to get everything put together. I couldn't just stay on a camera or the video switcher. I had to know what was happening, so I could tell my helpers what to do. It was different on my own with all the responsibility, but overall it was an enjoyable experience.
Your first question may probably be; How were you able to take off so much time from work to do 7 days straight of videoing conferences? "Coincidently" enough, my company has seen fit to cut my hours back to part time because of budgetary constraints. The has conversely allowed me to do the video conferences. I hope to be able to work full time with the video, so please keep me in your prayers.
I said all that to explain my week long absence and to say that I am running on fumes today. I will try to get more rest so that I can get back to the boards.
Until then...

The Window Is Wide Open
Sorry everyone. I been 'out-of-pocket' for a few days.
I will be going out of town again on Tuesday the 25th for the rest of the week. My schedule has ramped up recently (which is good news). I will be going out of town the first week of November and I may have the next two weeks after that booked with videoing conferences. It's a big change in my family schedule and my online time. But God is sooooo in all the details, that I (and my family) will be blessed.
If the laptop I have been given allows for access while I am on the road I will definitely drop in and hangout online. Otherwise my postings may be intermittent at best.
Riddle Me This - Tegid, please take over on this. 20 Questions - I will try to speed this one along on Monday, so jump in and ask as questions all day. And for those reading this post... here is a quick hint::: The place I am thinking of is described in the Avalon book.
Until next time, God Bless you all, my friends!

cree8ivone is back... temporarily I was just in Nashville, TN for 6 days recording a conference. It went really well and it was really large. Many DVD's and CD's were sold. But the hours tend to drain my energy. I was finally able to get connected to the internet from the Hotel, but I didn't have time to get to the forum. I do miss interacting more with everyone here and I hope to be able contribute more often. Meanwhile, I will be going out of town again in a couple of days for another conference. This video stuff has become my full time job now. I had been trying to maintain my other job too, but burning the candle at both ends has been taking too much time away from my family. I pray God's blessings on you and yours and I look forward to communicating and contributing more often. Intermittently Yours, Chip

Back from the conference in Houston... The video recording went just fine. I got to work with some young kids, which really helped the time fly. I also got to see my parents and my brother. I hope you don't mind me using this thread for my own little blog...
