After much deliberation, we have come up with some ideas for Forum Money which we hope would be fun. Please read our proposal, and then vote above and post your thoughts.
- Forum Money is earned simply. 1 post equals 1 Forum dollar.
- Forum Money can be loaned, traded, or even given as a gift to other members.
- Moderators and Administrators will have money, but it will be off limits. It cannot be spent or passed along to other members. It is just there to look pretty.
- Forum Money can be spent at the Store. Available for purchase will be such things as glowing names, customer avatars, and more. Occasionally, there may also be special items that would be up for auction.
- One thread will be dedicated to Forum Money transactions. Once a deal is struck, the Mods will make the change to the appropriate members' Forum Money.
- The cost of each item will be retroactive. Meaning, for example, if you already have a glowing name, we will automatically charge you for it as if you had just purchased it. This is just to be fair to those who didn't get it while it was free. If you want to give up your item to get your money back, just let us know. (The cost of each item will be listed in the Store, once we have it set up.)
That is the nuts and bolts of it. Time to vote above and post your comments.

hmm it doesnt seem fair that mods etc cant use their money or pass it along... mods should be able to use their money they volunteer their time and stuff to the forum and they should be able to use it to encourage others and stuff

We discussed this as a group and felt our giving money to people could be misconstrued as showing favoritism, etc... so we lowered our forum money to match our post counts...
Now, there can be no accusations of impropriety.

well I think for being mods you guys should at least be able to have some bells and whistles 1Ti 5:18 For the Scripture says, "You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain," and, "The laborer deserves his wages." meh I guess I just see it as unfair that you guys do the work yet cant enjoy any of the fun and stuff

Now do you see why you don't want to give these people more power than what they've got already? Although, I do like the idea of: A-Twyrch-ican Express - it's everywhere you want to be....unfortunately....

I found out my DGAN card was charging me outrageous interest, so I switched to MasterDred.
