So it occurs to me that I'm like some sort of hermit when it comes to knowing people and I don't know nearly as many as I should. The point for this ramble. . .Zeke, you get to go first in our little game. We're going to start a get to know you kind of deal. Since I already know Booky from TerryBrooks' forum I figured I'd try to get to know you as well. So. . .tell us about yourself. Me. Well there’s a topic I know something about. A very little mind you, but as much as any one else.
I am 17 and live in Young NSW Australia. I am studying Science through Macquarie University (distance education). My hobbies included (they seem to have ended temporarily) cycling ( I rode 1200 km in 9 days in January) music ( I successfully completed 7th grade trumpet last November) and model rocketry ( I built 2 rockets but never built a Launch pad for them).
Zeke is my dog he is a curly coated retriever. We live on five acres and have a cow and calf. My lil sister has a brainless beagle that uses Zeke as a chew toy (why he lets it I don’t know)

cool! An aussie friend! I love Aussies  Cycling. . .wow, you're braver than I am. . .I would probably shot myself in like the first hour . . .nah, the first ten minutes Music is good. Do you play just the trumpet or do you play other insturments? What kind of music do you prefer to play? Model rockets. . .that's got to be fun, fun, fun Uh. . .maybe you should talk that over with Zeke. . .see if you can't convince him NOT to be a chew toy Okay, pick the person you want to learn about!!! Let's see. . .I'm nearly 20 years old. . .22 more days! w00t!. . .I'm a lover of anime, books (writing and reading), enjoying life, listening to music, talking with my sister (my bestest friend in the world) and generally running around like a chicken without a head. (Any stress you want to add at the current moment may or may not be helped, there is no guarentee on this one at the moment ) I just recently moved to hell. . .I mean Albuquerque, NM. . .though through this heat, I can't figure out if it is hell in disguise. and so getting to know life down here has been a challenge, but I'm up to it In case you were wondering where my name comes from. . .it's a girl from the anime "Naruto" who isn't a terribly outgoing person. By having this name it reminds me that if you constantly hide within your comfort zones you'll never move on. Hinata is a great girl with a good heart but is too timid to speak up when she needs to. She's too timid to be the person she needs to become. By keeping that in mind, I can continually push to become a better person but not to the point of overbearing. Oh! And I'm majoring in Sign Language interpertation and English with an emphasis on creative writing. That's my life for the time. |

Okie Dokie!......*takes a deep breath*......My name is Jay (you can call me Jay, Shaz, Squirlie, Max, Master, or any other nickname you want to make up for me)......I live in Philadelphia, PA in the US (or Philly, as we locals like to call it)......I love reading.....normally read about two or three books at a time.....mostly, i spend my time working, though.....i work in the Sample Department of a flavor company......outside of work, I'm a Boy Scout leader and love to go camping, hiking, etc......and I also volunteer a lot for many different things......making dinners for homebound elderly, cleaning up my neighborhood of graffitti, etc......small things that I believe mean something to someone out there........oh, and dancing......I absolutely LOVE to dance......my range of music is pretty much anything except country (Johnny Cash is good but that's the closest I'll get to country)......rock, punk, rap, swing, and every other type of music, I like......ok......that's all about me......let's see.....who haven't we heard from yet?......oh, right......Booky?  |

I love to act, read, write, listen to music...all that artsy stuff, lol. I am 16 and ready to start my freshman year at Belmont Abbey College. I want to major in Pre-Medicine and eventually become a pediatrician. I am obsessed with Josh Groban and Disney movies (especially Beauty and the Beast, lol).
Um...what else...I love to dance in the rain. I love the smell of wild onions and mildew. I am a chocoholic. I will be 17 in a month and a half. I love fantasy and science fiction. The ONLY music I don't like is rap. I play flute, piano, and feadog. If I think of more, I'll let ya know, lol.

Shaz has been through a lot with me. . .he's been a strength to me when I didn't feel like I had a lot going. He's provided me with countless advice that's turned out to be right and I love him like my brother. . .thus, I have adopted him to be my niichan. . .(Japanese for brother). . .just like Twyrch. . .They are great friends and I love them to pieces! |
