You know those dictionary words we never use, the ones we see from time to time in our search for the true definition of 'ordinary'? Well, dust off the dictionary and prepare to dive in. The stranger the word, the better it will fit! Each player will first give what they think is the definition of the word (or an amusing possibility), then look up the word and post the official definition. Finally, choose the word for the next player to define. 1. Only words from the English dictionary are allowed. 2. Take turns. This game was inspired, in part, by Margim. It is he who suggested the personal definition, which is what makes this idea interesting enough to post. For example: If the word is 'ruckus'... I post: ruckus - the name of a rock that has fallen to block the path in front of us Then I go to my trusty dictionary or www.dictionary.com to find the real definition. ruckus n : the act of making a noisy disturbance I'll post the first word in just a moment.
