Tough choice. I guess I'd have to pick hot. I have cold toes even in the summertime and I can't sleep with cold toes!! (but on the other foot, if I was in an eternally cold climate, they'd freeze off and I wouldn't have to worry about it!
Would you rather travel the world in 80 days or have an 80 day "vacation" never leaving a very small island?

I'd rather have an 80 day vacation ... providing there is sufficient food on this small island, and enough books to occupy my time. (those quotes make me suspicious) Now, I like travel...but 80 days of it would be way too much.

Speak only wise words, I think. It would save a lot of embarrassment from "opening mouth, inserting foot".
