Bob clambered out of the suitcase and checked over his tank carrier. "Whew! Nothing's broken. You guys really need to be gentler with your luggage! Now... how far to Sea World?"
Dreamer stared at him. "B...but, you were supposed to keep an eye on ehbo!"
Bob snorted and a column of bubbles streamed to the top of his tank. "Ehbo can take care of himself. And he's no longer trying to kill you all, so I don't have to protect you either. I've been wanting to get off that dull island forever! Now, where's Sea World? I want crowds! I want beer! I want to see cute fish girls and a dolphin show!" Bob waved his fins wildly. "See you all later. I'm outa' here!"

"Bob!! Oh, there he goes. Well, I guess he earned his freedom. He has been on that island a long time. Hope he has fun at Sea World and doesn't get eaten by Shamu!" said dreamer.

[green]Cree8[/green] announced the joyful news that the monitor was no longer receiving a signal from the island. "And I don't think it's something that can be fixed. It looks like the malfunction is on the other end, and that it happened rather deliberately."

After the 402nd time down the icy slope, [brown]Tegid[/brown] was almost getting the hang of it. But even though he had put up a "MotM Mountain" marker as a grateful nod to his longsuffering friends, he could no longer ignore the nagging feeling that this was not really what they had wanted.
"I'd better go sign in over on the island, at least. That way, the fish and the monkey will know why they're having such a quiet month."

Karenee looked up from her book and examined the dark screen for a moment, then hurried from the room to hunt up Lazer.
"Lazer, I have the coordinates for the island, still. I think we need to check up on ehbo. That problem with the feed concerns me."
They soared out over the ocean together and Karenee lounged back in the pilot seat. "Take over, Lazer. I need a nap."

[green]Karenee[/green] was awakened a while later by a smoky snort from Lazer. They were nearing the location called for by the coordinates. But after trying to rub the sleep out of her eyes, she still couldn't see anything but featureless ocean.
"Are you sure this is the right spot?"
Lazer replied with an indignant puff.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Yes, I trust your instruments! But where's the island?"

[brown]Tegid[/brown] broke off an icicle and threw it like a spear, neglecting to let go. As his trajectory was taking him back down near the tropical destination, he had an odd sensation that he recognized, but he didn't quite understand what it had to do with going to MotM Island.
Once he landed, he couldn't help but notice that it was a little cooler than he expected. As he drew nearer the cabin, he noticed smoke coming out of ... a fireplace? "When did Bob add that?" he wondered. "And why is it even needed?"
And why had it felt like he passed into the Otherworld on his way here?

Meanwhile, back at Sea World, DantheMan and dreamer took Bob around to see which tank he most wanted to join. "Just make sure that whichever tank you choose doesn't have any predators in it, Bob" said dreamer.

"I think we'll just stick close to you until you find a new home, okay, Bob? You're our friend and we wouldn't want to get hurt. Just be sure that your new place has a spot for you to stash your mobile tank where no one can find it. If you need a quick getaway, you'll be all ready." said dreamer.

"There you are, dancer! Lazer is here for your first class trip to Member of the Month Island!!" said Karenee. "Just climb on his back and put your luggage on his tail and he'll have you there in no time. The monkey will show you around and tell you everything you need to know to enjoy your stay! Bye!"
As Karenee talked, dancer had climbed on Lazer's back. "Wait, a month! A whole month on the island?" she asked as Lazer flew toward the island. "But I thought..."

Lazer swooped and Dancer's question ended with a screech.
"So," Lazer said with a grin, "are you into arial acrobatics like Dreamer or would you rather have a smooth flight?"
Back at headquarters Karenee turned to Dreamer. "I sure hope Lazer can find the island this time. My theory is that only the rightful visitor can make it there, but who knows? Has anyone seen Tegid since his month ended?"

"Anyone?" [green]Cree8[/green] asked with arched eyebrow. "No, [red]DanTheMan[/red] and I haven't. But it was ehbo who was on the island when it, uh, vanished. There's no telling what havoc our brother's been up to the past couple weeks. For all I know, [brown]Tegid[/brown] ended up going there, too, and all kinds of mayhem broke out between him and ehbo, taking the island with them."

Through the window of the cabin, ehbo could be seen positioning portraits of owls just so. Even with the window closed, [brown]Tegid[/brown] could hear him saying, "Ah, this cooler climate is so much more to my liking, Monsieur. Now bring me that one of my foster great-aunt. At least this place isn't Grand Central Station anymore. Oh, and here's a real gem, a shadowbox with the first credit card I ever declined! I've got to find a special place to hang that! My, this place was swarming with people when I got here; I thought it was supposed to be for just one person at a time. No, no, Monkey, look, don't put Hootie's picture next to Glumfeather's; they never could get along. Anyway, now that I was able to take the whole island here into the Otherworld, I think I'll just stay here."

Lazer shrugged and replied, "Well, that's the deal. We're probably just out here for the ride, because the island can't be found anymore. Is there some other fun and relaxing thing you'd rather do this month? You've been parasailing before, right? How about I take you around like that for the whole month? You know, get MotM Franchise to branch out."
