Thanks for that. You'll be in my prayers as well. I really pray that things will work out for you and the language barrier won't hinder your ability to move things forward more quickly especially with all you have going right now.

Not-so-major prayer request:
My first French test of the semester is Friday the 18th. So far, we haven't covered a whole heckuva lot, and we've already had two quizzes, so I'm not expecting it to be a killer exam, but regardless, prayer is appreciated. Thanks!

I hope and pray the exam went well for you and you'll be getting top marks.

We could use some prayer right now. Our 4th child is due April 6, but she's currently in breech position. We're trying some things at home to get her to turn head down, and will probably schedule an appointment to have a doctor try to turn her manually. The manual turning carries a slight risk that we'll need an emergency c-section, plus there's the risk that it might not work, that the baby will simply turn breech again.
Please pray that this baby will turn head down within the next few days, and that she'll engage in the pelvis once she's turned. My other three were born the "regular" way (the last two were drug-free! ) and I'd really like this one to be another normal, natural birth. However, I realize (intellectually) that I may have to have a c-section this time, so please also pray that I will be able to accept whatever happens. Thank you.

Thanks, Dred. We now have an appointment for the external version (manual turning) on Monday 23 March. I'm praying that everything goes well.

May your heart be calm before our King. I can't wait to hear what He is doing!

Well, the external version didn't work. I'm still hoping the baby will turn on her own before our scheduled c-section on April 1st; if she doesn't, I'm going to assume there's a good reason for her staying breech. Still praying.

ceridwen, I am praying for your situation, and I do hope the baby turns on her own. I have either worked with or been friends with a couple of people who were born breech, and they have each had life-long challenges as a result. I want to encourage you that, if you do need to have a c-section, there will come a time (even if it is many, many years later) when your child will realize the sacrifice you went through for her, and will be profoundly thankful for what you did for her at this time. The Lord is with you.

I'm sorry to hear the aversion didn't work but will continue to pray the baby will turn before the date of the c-section.
God is watching over you.

Dear friends, will you please pray for my husband and me? I can't go into details, but we are going through a very difficult time in our marriage right now, and I would really appreciate your support in prayer. Thank you.

The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.
Praying for you and your situation, ceridwen.

Another request for prayer. My husband plans to file for divorce this week or next. After 14 years of a difficult marriage, he has given up. I don't want this and am praying and hoping for reconciliation--especially since we're both professing Christians--but he seems determined to go through with it.
My hope is in God. He woke me up from my self-centered apathy; He can do the same for my husband.
Please pray.

I'd like to ask for prayers for the families and business owners that were burned out in yesterday's row home fire in Ashland, Pennsylvania. At least one person was burned and life flighted out. Thank you.
