I'm probably going to have two characters that I am 'controlling'. One that I have already started to setup will have lots of history and will be used in an expository fashion many times. The other will be a commoner local to Sherwydd in order to setup the mystery of the first character and to provide more interaction with other characters in the story.
I will probably use both characters for back story narrative, so feel free to engage them with questions regarding Sherwydd and the region. Depending on the character and their personality, I will do my best to respond to all inquiries.
**now to setup my second character**

Sounds good to me.
Something else I wanted to run by people to see what you all thought is in regards to the text color. Does everyone wish to use the same color when your character is speaking or should we all try to use different colors? I know that depending on what skin you use, that will make a difference on the appearance of the text color. More food for thought.

Green is a little hard to see. I'm cool with whatever.

I put quotes around mine because I forgot you guys were doing the color thing. But quotes would solve the skin vs. color issue.

Good point. I don't think it's a big deal for any of us. I'm sure we can follow what each other is doing for actual statements versus typing out what is taking place.

I just realised I didn't make that map before I left. I am sorry. It will get done, though later than I thought.
Now my other comment has to do with diverging story lines. Eventually, we'll all want to go off and do our own thing. Do we just start writing about what we are doing, and try to keep track of everyone else in case we bump into them? What if we want to meet someone and have a conversation? Do we have to wait till the other person responds every time, or can we make basic assumptions based on the character's actions so far? *Like: He is friendly*

I've seen it done different ways. Most times have involved people assuming basic responses from those they are RPing with. I was thinking that we can use this area to share different things that are taking place in our side adventures if we should so choose.
If the RPing gets large enough, we can expand it to have multiple threads. If that happens, it will come in time. I don't see us needing that just yet.
If you are having a conversation with someone, give them a chance to respond but if they don't after a period of time, then assume something for your RPing and move on. That person will respond sooner or later.

Hey Karen,
I found a really good base for the map (complete with topography). I'll send you the link as soon as I find it again.

Where are Cynan and Sarah? They should be in here by now. **misses their contribution**

I don't know where they are. I haven't seen or heard anything from either of them in quite a while. I hope they are ok.

Karenee, Since I could not get the link to work right, I have been working on a map with topography for Sherwydd. I will send it to you when I am done for your input. Then we can present the final product to Dred for posting on the forum.
