*I should wait until dinadan gets offline for the night, to give someone else a chance. But I have to go home in a few minutes* ... Look, somebody else can answer this, y'know. Or I just know that dinadan is kindhearted enough to willingly stand aside and give someone else time and a chance. (And I know I can flap my arms and fly to the moon.) I can take a hint...besides, I'm fair, as I've said. I'll refrain from answering your question...36 hours...by noon EST monday, though, it's fair game.

(In golf, this is called handicapping.)
Everyone, remember to click on dinadan's 'BLESS' button, now, y'hear? No joke!

Ya know, the funny part is, you could give me 36 DAYS and I MIGHT be able to answer that...

Maybe I could implement that "This question is for din; that question is for regular people" bit that was mentioned earlier. Can you take a crack at any one of the three parts?

Eorl was the first king of Rohan. The cause of the friendship was the Rohirrim saving Gondor's butt, whereupon Steward Cirion of Gondor gave Rohan the plains of Calenardhon. There was no king between Cirion and Denethor II, so the first king of Gondor to befriend a king of Rohan was Aragorn II, who served Thengel and befriended Theoden and Eomer.
**hopes that the right answer is in here somewhere**

Hey....I'm still a regular person. That's true. I was there in the audience that evening they awarded honorary personhood to you. I was miffed that they passed me by.

(Say, CoI, when a competition is won, then what? Are "they" (you) monitoring that and automatically doling out the goods, or do winners PM you, or are they required to boast on the 'Claim Your Prize' thread, or what? What if it's one of these Trivia threads where the winner supposedly has a choice of awards?)

Hopefully... but if winners want to let us know by PM, then that could make our lives a little bit easier as well. Seeing as how CoI won.. I'm sure she will dispense her points as she sees fit. As to your other conversation... you were miffed that Dinadan was nominated for MotM? If you want to discuss this offline, my PM is open.

I was miffed that dinadan is now an honorary person and I'm not. The NoZe Brotherhood gave him a plaque and a certificate and read a proclamation from the mayor and had him up on the platform and poured oil on him and declared him an honorary person, and all the time I was sitting there and so happy for him, but they never called my name and made a person out of me, and I tried so hard to be just like a real person, but they plain flat never did notice, and I don't know what else to do.

w00t w00t! Okay... when was the first mention of Balrogs, and under what name? (Ridiculously easy for some of you, lol)

Aye.
**goes to her book to find something to stump him with next turn, although she will probably never have another without the 'for regular people' rule**

This one is relatively easy.
Name all the Elven-kingdoms in Middle-Earth in the First Age, and the name of their ruler(s).
