Yep. I thought maybe I could trick you. I'll try harder next time.
Your turn.

I had to give it a little thought at first. How many known apprentices did Darth Sidious have prior to his death?

Luke had two lightsabers--the first was blue (he lost that one in the fight with Vader on Cloud City in Bespin), and the second was green, which he built on Tatooine in Ben Kenobi's old dwelling, just before going to confront Jabba and rescue Solo.

That's not exactly right, but the right answer is in there so I'll give it to you. I was going for green. You may recall that the blue lightsaber was not Luke's, but was actually Anakin's.
Your turn.

Wouldn't Obi Wan's comment to Luke have changed ownership concerning that original lightsaber? "Your father wanted you to have this when you were old enough but your uncle wouldn't allow it." "What is it?" "Your father's lightsaber." Not that it matters to much to me but I think the change in possession took place so the blue one was Luke's first. I'm still with Caledvwlch having the next question though.

I think that legalism is a sin, even in the Star Wars 'verse ;D

lol Thanks a lot. I was enjoying quoting things more than the legal aspects.

Well, Dred, Obi-wan did say that "This was your father's lightsaber." So, it is still Anakin's. And if we want to split hairs, Anakin did not freely give it up. In fact, Obi-wan stole it from him while he was lying on the ground after their duel. So there!

lol
I was putting my hopes into the latter part of that quote about his father wanting Luke to have the lightsaber but you're correct.
It almost is a error between wording in the prequel and what actually took place. Of course Obi-Wan did say everything was up to a certain point of view and he was simply guessing Anakin would have wanted the child, whom he didn't even know existed, would have wanted a lightsaber.
This makes my brain hurt thinking into that depth.
Next question please Cal?
