Well Hi there! My name's Ruth. I have many nick-names including Ruthie, Roofseal, Ruthius Maximus, Aswo (from another book forum...maximum ride) Frenchie (because I like french...is that a crime?!?) And Bruce. (don't ask...Finding Nemo) I'm Australian. I love God. (I'm a Christian) I like horses, and READING!!! I read many, many books. "Hood" is what introduced me to SRL and so far, it is the only book I've read as I purchased and finished it yesterday... I'm also into writing, although I haven't finished a novel as of yet...they are all in the very early stages of ideas/chapters. My poetry is more successful. I like painting/drawing but it takes a lot of effort for me to do anything good, as I'm not naturally gifted in this area. I like to speak french (well, as much as I know) I learnt it during high school, which I have just completed. So yeh, that's me in a nutshell.
Now welcome me!!! *opens arms wide* (haha, jk)

Welcome to you! We have plenty of Aussies here but I'm not so sure about French-speakers. Look around and post often!

Welcome to the happy home we call the boards. I'm sure you'll find plenty to read and get through here. Feel free to ask any questions and we'll do our best to get you answers that might even go with your questions. Imagine that. *gets on his back and runs his hands around in the air* That's me in a nutshell.

Welcome! I will try to speak French with you, even though I only know Spanish and Latin.

That's ok, COI, just speak Latin with a French accent and I won't know the difference. Hoodedwarrior, you'll be glad to know we have several Aussie members on the board already. You should feel right at home. I'm from Wisconsin, which is just like Australia in that many people aren't sure if it is a country or island and think we all hunt crocodiles.

Woot! Yay! I think I'll fit in here quite nicely, judging by the randomness witnessed! LOL *does a happy dance*
dgan, hunting crocs is the least of my stereotypical worries. lol. What about the fact that I ride to school on kangaroos, live in a huge desert with no cities and say things like 'crikey! streuth mate, strike a light' amongst others...what about the fact that I wear a hat with corks on it, and khaki gear?
Bwaaha. I love other peoples ignorance sometimes. It's amusing, up to a certain point.

Just tell me Fosters is really Australian for beer and my life will be complete. ROFL!! Right on. Took over Miller Lite as the best beer commercials on television, IMO. Although, the Man-law concept may have taken that award back...I haven't decided yet...

Just tell me Fosters is really Australian for beer and my life will be complete. Well, I dunno. I guess so, (not being a beer drinker) But I think actually VB (victoria bitter) is bigger where I live. Sorry to dissapoint!

Gah. False advertising. It's the ruination of society. *hugs* It's all good.

Thankee Twyrch. I like this forum! *throws confetti* celebrate randomness! It's a lot sleepier than the MaximumRide forum. You post there one day, and if you're not back to check it within two days, sometimes less, it's off the page. Then you have to sift through pages to find it and see who's replied. SRL's a nice change. *relaxes* Although, that's why I'm the last poster in so amny topics at the moment. I kinda went nuts with the posting. *sheepish look*

I like being able to read everything and know everyone (even here, though, only in certain sections that I can keep up with).

Hi, hoodedwarrior. This posting phenomena happened to all of us once we fell in love with this place. It is absolutely normal. Further, we would all love to post here just as much, but you know how it is... "those whose hands are full must drop something in order to hold more," or something like that. Good to see you here. Keep on posting!
