I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your brother and all the other troubles that have hit you the last couple of years. I sincerely hope the future improves considerably for you.
I have enjoyed Lost as well. I hate to say that I didn't see much of the last season and only parts of the season before. Real life got super busy and I lost a fair amount of time to watch anything.
If the writer's strike continues, there could be a great many shows that really suffer in the long run.

Thanks, Dred. It has been difficult, but just recently I finally admitted that I've been mad at God for a lot of things...and oddly enough, He's given me more inner peace now that I'm speaking to Him again. He works in mysterious ways.... Yes, I hope the writer's strike gets resolved soon. It would be sad if Lost ended so abruptly, without the benefit of a real series finale. I have to keep repeating to myself: It's only TV. It's not the end of the world. Cynan: are you on the message boards at www.thefuselage.com? I post there occasionally as sock_heaven.

Yeah. God sure does work in mysterious ways and it always seems to work to our benefit when we are speaking with him regularly.
It would indeed stink if that happened. Yes they are only tv shows but it's those sorts of things that help provide us entertainment in the evenings when we should be doing other stuff. Not that I'm admitting to getting caught up in a half dozen or more different shows. *coughs*
I remember the series finales of several series I enjoyed, Cheers, Frazier, MASH (ok on reruns but still), and several others. It's bad enough when a show you like stops but to have them end without wrapping at least a few things up really stinks.
